In the MTC

As everyone that knows JD knows he is a man of few words. So as of now e-mailing is not his thing either. But he has written letters that I as his mom cherish. Want to share a few lines with all of you so you can feel the spirit as I have each time I read JD words. Wow how he has grown in such a short time. Well here goes....JD says.....

This is amazing. I absolutely love it. Its seriously the best thing every. I am so glad I made the choice to come. I love this gospel and can't wait to share it with others. When we first stepped onto the MTC grounds you just get this feeling of WOW. The spirit here is amazing....

We are so blessed to have the gospel in our lives. One of the principles that we teach in the lessons is that God blesses families. He bless us so much. Families are the most important unit in time and all eternity to our father in heaven. And I love that through this gospel we can live with each other for time and all eternity. That's amazing to think about. I want to leave you guys with one question and I want you to really think about it...
Why do you care?
Why do you care so much about the gospel?
Answer that and you will know what this gospel really means to you!

So today we made a rap for the 2nd lesson about the Plan of Salvation. It was pretty fun. And we taught a pretend investigator today the 1st lesson. And it was amazing. I felt prompted to commit her to baptism, but I didn't cuz I was scared. But other then that it was amazing. There is no other feeling like it. It's hard to explain.

JD is down to his last 4 days in the MTC... he is excited to get to Kentucky and share what he know and feels. His spirit has grown, his love for the gospel has grown as you can tell in his few short words. We are proud of him and miss him tons but know the there are people waiting in Kentucky that only JD will be able to touch and bring into the gospel. We love you JD!!
